Technical Lead (for Markup & Styling) of all sliced designs, and primary Front-end Developer. My responsibilities were to oversee the design and development stages of website projects, as well as be involved in the development itself on many occasions.

In addition, create/setup custom CRM tools for managing bundles of websites (up to 100+); Create/setup custom Members' sites portals (using a CMS—such as Joomla—for the base/engine).

    • Role: Technical Lead, and Sole Developer
    • Work: Slicing (using Photoshop) and styling (using HTML 4/CSS 3) of the design (template). Setup, and customization of newly released CodeIgniter 2.0 framework, including addons and hacks for features such as multilingual support (in an Search Engine Optimized manner, using SEF URLs). Setup/integration of additional front-end scripts, such as Tooltips, DataTables, Autocomplete, etc.
    • Feature(s): The website is 50% Ajax-driven (while still maintaining SEO). Back-end/custom administration area for managing users/agents, profiles, and requests. E-mail notifications (role-specific), including direct links within email's message for back-end management.

    • Work: Front-end and Back-end development (using HTML 5/CSS 3, and PHP/MySQL). Development of custom CRM tool for managing bundles of websites (up to 100+), including features such as: Variable-driven content, 1-click copy/re-brand entire sites, etc.
    • Feature(s): The website is powered by technologies such as the Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.; and is mobile friendly (supporting as low as 320px/portrait view). PHP's cURL technology used for linking/loading all websites from a single portal area (server).

    • Work: Slicing and styling (using HTML 5/CSS 3) of the design (template) to match the framework of CMS, Joomla. Setup, and customization of newly released Joomla 3.0 CMS/framework, including addons and hacks for features such as variable-driven content, custom config, etc.; and setup SEO (including SEF URLs). Setup/integration of additional front-end scripts, such as Colorbox & Shadowbox, Flowplayer, SWFobject, Accordion, etc.
    • Feature(s): The website is powered by technologies such as the Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery, etc. The back-end/administration area has been customized to be "dummy proof" for beginner administrators/managers. Development of custom J! plugin for handling variable-driven content.

Chinook Multimedia Inc. | 2009 to 2011

Senior Web Developer, Technical Lead, and Lead Programmer. My responsibilities are to design, develop, and maintain large-scale websites, and databases.

In addition to my role with Chinook Multimedia, I have brought forth my separate skillset of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), improving traffic to the websites.

SEO has now become a key selling point for Chinook Multimedia, and with the recent WEB2.0 redesign of our own website our rankings in search engines have jumped from Page 150 to Page 2 in the SERPs.

    • Role: Technical Lead, and Sole Programmer
    • Work: Double website package. Slicing using Photoshop and styling (HTML/CSS) of the GUI (template). The setup, and customization of the Joomla CMS and integrate Google Blogger components as Joomla modules.
    • Feature: Development of a bridge connection between the two websites to handle double logins and double publishing of new webpages for the client.
    • Award: First place winner in Top 10 Best Symphony Orchestra Websites in Canada.

    • Work: New website. Slicing and styling of the GUI. The setup, and customization of the Joomla CMS and development of a custom multilingual system to handle multiple languages for the website.
    • Feature: I developed a custom multilingual system to work for both content, and modules of the Joomla CMS. This custom multilingual system also delivers on some of our SEO needs.

    • Work: New website. Slicing and styling of the GUI. The setup, and customization of the Joomla CMS and development of a quiz system for people to logon the website and fill out the quiz for their course.
    • Feature: I developed a custom multiple-choice quiz system to handle one-to-many number of questions and can be categorized into categories. I also built a reports system along side of the quiz system to provide stats on the quizzes, questions, answers, etc.
